We have lost our Yoda, our Gandalf, our Ghostface. We have lost Steve Jobs. Friedrich Nietzsche once said that without music, human existence would be a mistake. Nietzsche would’ve been proud of Steve, the visionary who allowed us to digitize and tote our entire music library in our pockets. He, along with YouTube and early MySpace (pause), are responsible for a profound shift in our relationship with song. They represent the holy trinity in an age of musical enlightenment. Respect.
