This Wednesday, June 20, Hot Press Tees mourned the loss of one of our personal heroes…Lee Jun-fan; better known as Bruce Lee. That night we also attended the launch of Pharrell Wiliams’ new spirit company Qream at the New York Public Library. The connection–none really, but we did leave the spot with legos on the brain. Was it an encounter with the front man of the Neptunes that did it? Either way, we wanted to pay tribute, Game of Death style, to a man that has entertained and enlightened us from birth and will continue to do so for the rest of our days.
“Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.”
